Be fit, - it is good for you.
How do you get a Fitness Ranking.*?
answer: input your top five most highly valued "fitness events*" in your life and see how your score compares to others.
* an example of a fitness event is: 1)" I pitched a no hitter in a major league baseball game."  or 2) "I won the Tour de France" or 3)" I won my high school state championship in football in Alaska, and was the starting quarterback." or 4) " I ran the NY marathon in 2:43:24"   Example 1 is something you need not guess at the score you should assign, but you can. with "publicly known major sporting events" Fitness Rank ( FR) has a panel of experts in that field that will unbiasedly assign a point value for that fitness event, likely a 92. IE #2 Winning the tour is great, and experts in biking would give that a score, likely a 97.  IE #3 you can give us what score you think you should receive but if we get the same scenario from a person in California, we'd probably give the Alaska kid less points, likely an 81, Cal kid a 87.  IE #4 this would receive a score pulled right off a chart from our experts in running. likely an 86.
So what do you have to do to get a score of 100 for a life fitness event? We here at FR think it should be something that no else has done and that it is fairly unlikely no one else can do. Lance Armstrong would not get a 100 for winning the tour de France, but he would get a 100 for winning five in a row!  Which brings up counting fitness events within fitness events! - most of us don't have this problem, but imagine the triathlete who wants to use their swimming, biking, and marathon scores instead of their Ironman placement. It's tricky, but be glad when you have that kind of fitness resume where you have to worry about such details. ANYTHING you might have done, we here at Fitness Rank will take a crack at assigning a score to, and you can feel free to appeal it. We at FR do Not think anyone's Fitness score will be above 480, most "fit people" will be in the 300s.  Jack Lalane might make it to around 470. ouch!
*We also are taking input on a person's "skill ranking", money ranking, and we'll do a lifetime fitness ranking based just on "basic measurable exercises or tests" like those given below.
